Fraud Prevention Service

In continuing our efforts to keep your accounts safe, we've improved our alert system for potential fraud. here's how it works: 

1. When potential Fraud is detected, you will receive an automatic email notification from Commercial Bank with the option to reply "fraud" or 'no fraud.'

2. One minute after the email, you will receive a text alert from 32874 between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST, which also has the "fraud" "no fraud' option.

3. If there is no response from you, five minutes after the text alert, you will receive automatic phone calls to confirm or deny fraud.

Remember, our messages will never ask for your PIN or account number.

The phone number for our Fraud Center has changed to 1-800-417-4592. if you add this number to your phone contacts and label it "Fraud Center," it will display whenever you get a call from this number.

Mobile Remote Deposit

Mobile Remote Deposit at Commercial Bank lets you use your  mobile device to take a picture of a check and deposit it into your account . It is secure and convenient. You never have to bring the check to the bank, and you can use your Apple or Android  device. You’ll also need to be enrolled in internet banking and you’ll need to download the Commercial Bank app to use Mobile Remote Deposit. An enrollment process is required, and if  approved the deposit feature will be added to your app. Call  Customer Support if you have questions: 423-869-5151.

What checks can I deposit?

You may deposit any check made payable to you that is drawn on a U.S. bank. You cannot remotely deposit money orders or travelers checks.

What limits are there?

You may deposit up to 5 items totaling $2,500 on a single day, and up to 25 items totaling $25,000 in any calendar month.

How should I endorse the checks?

Endorse the check as it is made payable to and write “Deposit Only Commercial Bank” below your signature.

When will deposited items become available?

Deposits made before 5 p.m. on a business day will normally be available the next business day.

How will I know a deposit was received?

You will receive a confirmation email stating the status of your deposit. Additionally, within the Mobile App, previous deposits from the last 5 days will be listed.

What do I do with the checks I have deposited?

Securely keep checks for at least 7 days. Make sure your deposit has been credited to your account, then destroy the check. Do not dispose of intact checks in trash. Shredding is recommended to avoid fraud or other mishandling.

eStatements and eNotices

Once you have access to Online Banking you will be able to sign up for electronic statements and notices. Select the eStatements tab in Online Banking to enroll. It is an additional enrollment process, but once you are registered you can view your eStatements through Online Banking. eStatements are safer and fast than paper statements. You will receive an email stating that your statement is ready the day your statement cycle ends. For the fastest and most secure communications concerning your account, go to Online Banking and sign up today for eStatements. eNotices are also available and will allow you to receive notice, such as NSF notices, electronically rather than through the mail. eNotices alert you more quickly than a mailed notice when something important is happening within your account. 

Bill Pay

Bill Pay is an easy and convenient way to pay your bills electronically. You can schedule payments to draft out of the account automatically at a date you choose. Or you can pay your bills quickly with a few clicks of the mouse from your computer.
