Commercial Bank, with two locations in Morristown, Tenn., announces the Heart of Morristown Initiative, a community sponsorship with Crossroads Downtown Partnership and Rose Center that focuses on the Morristown community as a whole and local downtown businesses.

The bank kicked off this initiative on Friday, February 1, 2019 with a Heart of Morristown Block Party, extending from the Commercial Bank Millennium Square Branch, located at 225 West 1st North Street, Morristown, TN 37814, to Java Garden, located at 203 West Main Street, Morristown, TN 37814. The event was completely free to the public and included music, a chance to win money in the Commercial Bank Money Machine, tons of prizes from local businesses, and lunch on Commercial Bank.

Crossroads Downtown Partnership is a volunteer-based 501 (c) (3) Non Profit certified state and national Main Street organization dedicated to ensuring the sustainability and growth of downtown Morristown, Tennessee. Downtown Morristown has been the heart of the community for over 150 years.

Rose Center Council for the Arts develops, promotes, and sustains the creative arts in Morristown and the Lakeway region. In addition to annual events like the Mountain Makins Festival and Rockin’ Rose Block Party, the center brings the community of Morristown alive with fun and entertainment through an ever changing selection of classes, monthly events, and the many group, professional, or private functions held through rental of rooms within our historical Rose Center. Rose Center is a non-profit organization and a Designated Agency of the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC).
